Daggarjon.com is growing! As i continue trying to upload content and add new pages and features, i appreciate all the emails i get with your comments, suggestions and glitches. I appreciate your patience as i try to work out these bugs, and work towards presenting a very nice site. If you find something out of place, Email me with any glitches, comments or your suggestions you might find or have.

Note: I only have about 90% of my world currency scanned and posted, about 1% of my US currency, and less then 1% of my coin collection. I do, however, have about 95% of the pages i need for those itmes to be posted created. This means, that alot of the pages on this site are empty of numismatic items. If you are looking for a specific item for a specifc country, using the menu to the left will get you there. If, however, you are just browsing the US or World Coins or Currency, checking the Whats New page will show exactly whats been added, and could save alot of time browsing empty pages.

How to use DaggarJon.com: Every country's page will have a map. Each map can be clicked to view a larger image. In the window the pops up, the image can be further enlarged, by hovering over the image, and when the Internet Explorer image toolbar is shown, clicking on it will show the map full size (or for some images, you will have a magnifying glass that will let you zoom in closer). Every note listed on all this site can also be clicked. When you click on any coin or currency thumbnail, a window will pop up displaying the note full scale. Most coins and/or notes are scanned at 300 DPI to give a nice crisp image. Some of the worlds smaller notes are scanned at 600 DPI.

DaggarJon.com will be a very busy place for a long time to come. While I do not have a massive collection of high priced coins. I do have a large collection of very valuable coins and currency. Valuable not in terms of monetary value, rather a collection that is valuable to me. I have a lot of Coins and Currency to show, so I would suggest to check back often to see any updates.

One note I feel I must make - alot of the pages I have put together, which do not have any items shown, have a note saying that i do not have any items at this time. This is incorrect. If i have a page listed on this site, then i do have items from that country. If the page is blank, then i have been unable to scan and post the images.

Can you help me? I am looking for individual histories on American coins and its currency. While I have been able to find the history on alot of coins and some currency items, and i will continue to look, Some items prove hard to find. If you come across a page on my site that does not have a history, and you would like to contribute, just email me what you have found. Please include what you are emailing me about, for example, if the history is on the buffalo nickle or the confederate currency. Also, since alot of work goes into writing a history on an object like these, it is very important to include a link to the site where you got the information AND the name of the author if known. World history would also be helpful. Any help you could email me on historical accounts of a country would help me a great deal!

Most of the histories of world currencies that i show on this site were obtained from Global Financial Data website as well as other public sources on the internet including Wikipedia and its affiliated sites. I am not affiliated with the Global Financial Data website in ANY way. They have some excellent histories for monetary evolution from countries all around the world. They have done an excellent job in gathering that information and presenting it to the internet. I 'only' advise the use of these histories available from that site. I know nothing about anything else on that site, and do not recommend the buying or selling of anythign that is presented on that site without first doing your own research.
