New Additions

I will use this page to show what updates i have done. This will help visitors navigate right to the new notes or pages without having to navigate every page. It will also help me to know what i have updated, and what i have to update.

With the year 2010 behind us, and 2011 well upon us, what does the next year hold in store for you?

Regardless on whether you collect US coins, world coins, currency or strictly bullion, there is always that 1 item (or two) that lies just beyond our grasp. For some it is that illusive coin from years gone by, that are either too expensive, or rarely seen on the market. For others, its a modern coin, possibly an error, or some exotic metal - Gold, Platinum or Palladium???

With the close of 2010, the US Mint decided to issue some proof ASE's from the West Point mint. Will this be a single year return, or will sales of the bullion ASE cease its streak of record sales? With the return of a favorable economy in the US, i see the demand for the ASE falling to normal levels, and thus, hopefully, the return of the ASE and all its options. For me, it will always be a sorespot to have that hole in the ASE series.

If offered again this year, i will pick up my usuall order for the Proof and Uncirculated ASE's, and continue my other bullion purchases - the Panda, Maple ect.

What are your plans for 2011? Will this year bring a small hoard of coins, or are you saving for that single item that will be the highlight of your collection? Let me know by visiting and signing my Guestbook.

Chinese Ration Coupons - I was able to add some details for a few additional coupons.

I fear i will need a source for translating most of my remaining ration coupons. All the books i have found are written in Chinese. Hopefully, some day, a book or catalog will be written for English collectors.

I also added 2 medals. I do not normally collect medals, but somehow i managed to pick these up. If you could help in identifying the medals listed to the bottom of the page, please use the 'Contact Me' page, and let me know what you find.

Coin Help Page - This is a page i put together for coins i am absolutely lost on. Some coins i will know the country, but not the Pick# or date. Others i may not know anything. If you have a moment, please stop by to take a look at coins i need help with. I would greatly appreciate any help!
